SEF2488 Earthquake Trailer *Amendment 6*

The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, HQ State Equipment Fleet, is soliciting bids for the one-time purchase of one Earthquake Trailer, also known as an Earthquake Simulator, to be used at JBER, Alaska. The bid opening date is scheduled for June 29, 2026, at 2:30 PM. Bidders must hold a valid Alaska business license prior to the award, and those seeking the five percent Alaska Bidder Preference or other socioeconomic preferences must possess the license at the time of bid opening. Bids can be submitted physically to the Anchorage office or electronically via PDF, provided the ITB number is in the subject line and the bidder confirms receipt via telephone. The contractor is responsible for all packaging and transportation costs to the FOB point, and ownership remains with the contractor until the equipment is delivered to the final destination and accepted by the State. Prior to delivery, the dealer must perform a full service and inspection, including a detailed list of all fluids and their specifications. Final acceptance is contingent upon the correction of all deficiencies, including the provision of line sheets and bills of materials. Warranty support must be available in Anchorage at a minimum. Late or non-conforming deliveries may result in liquidated damages of 100 dollars per calendar day. Additionally, the contractor must comply with specific electrical product marking requirements based on the manufacture date and certify that they are not headquartered in a Tier 3 country as defined by the U.S. Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons Report.
