U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY OFFICE OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SENIOR FINANCIAL SPECIALIST (TRAVEL) The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) provides technical assistance in over 50 countries in five functional areas: economic crimes, government debt and infrastructure finance, budget and financial accountability, banking and financial services, and revenue policy and administration. OTA is seeking a Senior Financial Specialist to support its global projects. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract. Please note: this is NOT a civil service position. The Senior Financial Specialist performs accounting functions and other financial related analyses to assist the Finance Manager in ensuring accuracy and timeliness of accounting records and reports and financial information for projects and activities in the Office of Technical Assistance. SCOPE OF POSITION: Includes, but not limited to: Examines program office travel authorizations for compliance with Federal Travel Regulation and program office procedures. Audits business travel vouchers. Resolve discrepancies. Coordinate the approval for all vouchers being processed for payment. .Acts as point of contact with Treasury Fiscal Services on matters of travel system (Concur CGE) operations and reporting.
