Senior Technology Architect in support of CAF Digital Transformation

The Department of National Defence is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to support the Chief of Joint Capabilities Integration in advancing the Canadian Armed Forces' digital transformation agenda. This role is critical to the design, configuration, and implementation of technology infrastructure for operational data domains, ensuring alignment with defence policies, governance frameworks, and interoperability objectives. The Technology Architect must provide strategic technical leadership to enable data-driven decision-making across joint capabilities, with a focus on digital transformation, operational sustainment modernization, and health services integration. The position is mandated to operate within the governance structures of the Joint Forces Command and deliver recommendations through established defence capability and program channels. The contract is a one-year engagement with the possibility of a one-year extension, beginning upon award. The requirement is new with no incumbent, and it is part of solicitation DJMDR-25-0077, which was issued to 15 pre-invited suppliers. While qualified Supply Arrangement holders may also be extended invitations to submit proposals, the bid submission deadline remains firm at June 9, 2026 at 14:00 Eastern Time.
