: Escambia County is looking for a service contract for our Millipore Milli-Q Direct 8 to run from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. It is a highly specialized instrument that requires a high level of technical experience to properly maintain, diagnose, and repair. The service contract will cover an annual preventative maintenance visit and an emergency repair visit. Additionally, the cost of all the required filters and consumable supplies at the recommended replacement rate are included in the quote. Vendor must be able to: Must have technicians able to travel to perform routine preventive maintenance and an emergency repair visit which are included in the cost of the service contract. The preventative maintenance visit must include mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical checks of the system. Must have access to OEM parts (not on order). Must have dedicated technical support online and over the phone. During normal working hours the phone must be permanently manned and email checked regularly by chemists (or other qualified support technicians) able to troubleshoot the instrument.
