Shennecossett Golf Course PreFab Restroom Facility

The Town of Groton is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of a prefabricated precast concrete restroom facility at the Shennecossett Golf Course, located at 284 Plant Street, Groton, Connecticut. The scope of work includes site preparation, stripping of vegetation and topsoil, the installation of a granular non-frost susceptible sub-base, and the placement of an engineered prefabricated unit by CXT or an approved equal. The project also encompasses the construction of new utilities, related sitework, and repaving. Bidders may also provide pricing for an optional alternate involving the addition of two concrete stem walls for the foundation. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Town Hall Annex by 2:00 p.m. on September 17, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, provided the bid does not exceed available funds.
