AI Contract Overview
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to Extreme Engineering Solutions Inc. for Air Cooled 3U VPX-REDI Single Board Computers and Solid State Drives as a single lot. This procurement is justified under FAR 6.103.1 because the specified components are unique, directly replace existing equipment, and meet all required form, fit, and function specifications, leaving no viable alternative source. No request for quotes will be issued, and the government does not intend to open competition for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement to demonstrate their ability to meet the technical, quality, reliability, and schedule requirements by July 13, 2026, at 1200, referencing solicitation number N6893626SIMACQDB0000MEB0000M0490. Submissions must be emailed to Yvonne Stockwell and must come from vendors registered in SAM.gov with an active status, as eligibility for award is contingent upon this registration. Additionally, all contractors must be certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services to access Controlled Unclassified Information, with access restricted to a single approved Data Custodian per CAGE code via a pre-approved DD 2345 form. Vendors are responsible for coordinating CUI access through their official point of contact and ensuring compliance with Joint Certification Program requirements before any potential engagement.
