Performance and/or Design Requirements:Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is in need of user licenses for Mobex, Inc., YakChat application to facilitate SMS and MMS messaging to and from Microsoft Teams users for FY 2026-2027 Estimated Dollar Amount Not-to-Exceed: $22,000.00. Intended source: Mobex, Inc.P.O. Box 16944Clearwater, FL 33766 Justification for single source acquisition:Mobex Inc, a Florida Corporation, distributes and supports on a Nation-wide basis the YakChat application to facilitate SMS and MMS messaging to and from Microsoft Teams users. We have found no other application as user friendly, and as specifically focused on two-way communication between the Teams user and their respective party. Here is a description of the application provided by YakChat: YakChat Ltd supplies SMS text messaging in Microsoft Teams. We are the only company that provides a messaging application that is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft’s bot framework making it the easiest SMS text solution for Microsoft Teams customers. YakChat Ltd is the sole and only provider of this level of integrated text messaging technology in Microsoft Teams. No other source exists for Mobex, Inc. YakChat application as it is the sole and only provider of this level of integrated text messaging technology in Microsoft teams.
