Skateboarding Instruction Program

The City of San Diego’s Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting qualified providers to deliver a comprehensive Skateboarding Instruction Program across six designated skate parks including Carmel Valley, Cesar Solis, Linda Vista, Rancho Peñasquitos, Paradise Hills, and Park De La Cruz. The program requires the contractor to conduct skateboarding classes, camps, competitions, and drop-in clinics primarily targeting youth aged six and older, with limited opportunities for adult participation. Services must be delivered consistently at all listed locations to promote skill development, safety, and community engagement through structured and supervised skateboarding activities. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the PlanetBids portal with a signed digital signature using platforms such as Adobe Sign or DocuSign, or a scanned signature page, no later than July 23, 2026 at 9:00 PM Pacific Time. The City reserves the right to request original hard copies prior to contract execution if the electronic submission lacks a valid authorized signature. All inquiries and submissions must be directed through the official portal, with Clarinda De Leon of the Purchasing & Contracting Department serving as the primary point of contact for technical and administrative support. Failure to comply with submission guidelines may result in disqualification regardless of proposal quality.
