The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) requires a qualified Contractor to provide snow clearing & ice control consisting of the driveways, parking areas, trucking/loading areas, main entrances; including all building exits, exterior stairwells, walkways, sidewalks and vehicle entrances and exits at the Canadian Coast Guard Atlantic Region Headquarters (aka Southside Base)
Located at 250, 280, and 440 Southside Road, this Fisheries and Oceans location houses the Canadian Coast Guard’s Atlantic Region Headquarters which includes the Regional Operations Centre (ROC) and Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC), both of which operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, every day of the calendar year. The facility also include other operations that only occur during regular business hours.
Snow clearing requirements include but are not limited to three employee parking lots totaling approximately10,2504 square metres (sq m. area does not includes access roads and sidewalks. See drawings for all required areas)
