Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) needs snow clearing, snow removal, and salting services for Granville Island on an “as and when required” basis with no guaranteed value or volume of work. Granville Island is a high visibility and high traffic site with a complex road and pathway system, including one-way streets, loading zones, parking lots, pedestrian walkways, bike paths, maintenance yards, and public spaces. The surface profile of the areas to be cleared include stone pavers, asphalt, concrete, and wooden surfaces. A mandatory site visit will be held on September 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., PDT. The term of the agreement resulting from the RFP is expected to be for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for up to three (3) additional terms of up to one (1) year each. The anticipated value of the service is estimated to be up to $1,276,000.00 CDN including all applicable taxes.
