Notice of Proposed Procurement For Snow Removal Services, Goose Bay, NLThis requirement is for Fisheries and Oceans Canada.OBJECTIVES OF THE REQUIREMENT:1. Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material and equipment to provide snow removal and ice control at: Department of Fisheries & OceansGoose Bay, MCTS CenterGoose Bay, NL2. Work Included .1 Remove snow and ice, supply and spread sand to prevent slippery conditions on all driveways and parking areas..2 De-icing and sanding operations shall be provided as required or when conditions are deemed necessary by the Facilities Manager (FM).3 Where applicable, provide and install markers to identify the location of catch basins, storm sewers, manholes, etc. to prevent damage and maintain each in an accessible and workable condition..4 Snow must not be piled against fences or other structures in a manner that may lead to damage to these structures..5 Driveway and parking lot must be completely cleared to expose bare pavement..6 Caution must be taken as to cause no damage to the steps while snow clearing is being performed..7 Snow must be plowed beyond area that is to be shoveled. ( Beyond the Storage/ Generator Building.)SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:There is no security requirement associated with this bid solicitationPERIOD OF CONTRACT:The period of contract shall be from date of award to December 31, 2023.
