SOFTWARE LICENSES/ MAINTENANCE

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) plans to award a sole source contract to AG Sanction, LLC for the purchase and maintenance of proprietary software, including upgrades, support, and training. AG Sanction, as the original developer and the only authorized provider for this software, is uniquely positioned to fulfill the IRS’s requirements. The acquisition will proceed under FAR Part 13, with the Government intending to solicit only this single source under FAR 13.106-1(b). Although this notice is not a Request for Quote and no public solicitation will be issued, interested parties may submit a written response by August 5, 2009, demonstrating their ability to meet all requirements and offer a more advantageous product. Ultimately, the award decision rests solely with the IRS.
