AI Contract Overview

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to modify an existing contract with B.E. Myers, Inc. for the urgent procurement of additional GBD-IIIC lasers and screw-on neutral density filters. The GBD-IIIC laser is a critical component used to provide visual warnings to incoming vehicles approaching US-operated facilities in theatre. This modification will supply 60 additional GBD-IIIC lasers and 65 filters specifically for training purposes. The filters are designed to significantly reduce the hazard distance of the laser during training, thereby enhancing safety for Marines by lowering the risk of injury. B.E. Myers, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of both the GBD-IIIC lasers and the specialized filters, necessitating a sole source award due to the proprietary nature of the equipment. Their engineering expertise is crucial to ensure the filters are correctly manufactured to meet safety requirements. This contract modification reflects the Marine Corps’ urgent operational needs and reliance on B.E. Myers' unique capability to deliver these specialized components effectively and safely.

6525--SEP 2026 Equipment Only Consolidation
Solicitation # 36A79727Q0002
Solicitation 36A79727Q0002 is a HUBZone Small Business set-aside issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center for the September 2026 Equipment Only Consolidation. This procurement focuses on High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME), specifically targeting various imaging systems such as XR RAD, XR US, XR CT, and XR MRI for delivery to multiple VA VISN networks and stations. Competition is strictly limited to current contract holders with the VA National Acquisition Center or the Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support. Offers are due by February 3, 2027, and must remain valid for 180 days. The government will award based on best value, where non-price factors—specifically the availability of required features and the availability of service—are considered significantly more important than price. Technical evaluations will assess how well equipment meets functional requirements and the vendor's ability to provide local and virtual technical support, repair parts, and documentation. Vendors must provide individual product pricing, as bottom-line prices will be rejected, and must treat upgrade requests as forklift upgrades with separate trade-in values. Submissions must be uploaded as a single ZIP file to Box, following strict naming conventions and folder structures, and must be accompanied by a timestamped email to the Contracting Officer. Required documentation includes a completed pre-procurement assessment questionnaire for network-connected devices. Additionally, the contract specifies that while applications training is awarded with equipment, off-site training is excluded from delivery orders and must be handled as separate modifications.

Marine Corps Cyberspace Environment (MCCE) Operational Support Services (OSS) and Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration
Solicitation # M6785426I4208
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research via Request for Information M67854-26-I-4208 to identify commercial partners for the Marine Corps Cyberspace Environment (MCCE) Operational Support Services (OSS) and Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration. The primary objective is to secure skilled, professional IT touch-labor services under a Government-Owned, Government-Operated, Contractor-Supported (GOGOCS) model. While the focus remains on providing DCWF-certified personnel, the government is seeking innovative ways to integrate AI and automation as embedded components of the service delivery model to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual labor costs over time. The government is specifically exploring service-based ordering models, such as procuring hours of service or specific outcomes rather than individual labor categories. For pricing purposes, any contractor-provided proprietary tooling costs must be included within fully burdened labor rates, as this is a services acquisition. Interested respondents must submit a capabilities narrative limited to five pages, a vendor comment matrix in Excel format with a 300-word limit per cell, and optional supplementary materials not exceeding fifteen pages. The current response deadline is November 3, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.
