This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This requirement is for the procurement of two types of Mu-Del Electronics' Multicouplers and an Amplifier. SOLE SOURCE- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate for one source, Mu-Del Electronics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). The requirement is a sole source because the items meet the program requirements and have been procured with the baseline of the program. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be processed for quantity 2 each Mu-Del Electronics Multicoupler, P/N MDP-20300E, 2 each Mu-Del Electronics Multicoupler, P/N MDP-13213-3C and 3 each Mu-Del Electronics Amplifier, P/N 18-70-5418. The required items will be procured pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-14-T-0345 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Offers shall be emailed to Diane Pearson, to contact@example.gov. All required information must be received on or before 17 September 2014 @ 12:00PM EDT.
