The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, Support Tubes to support the MK140 Signal, Smoke, and Illumination, Marine Marker. Award will be made to Adapt Plastics, Inc., 7949 Forest Hills Road, Loves Park IL 61111. Production is currently ongoing, utilizing Adapt Plastics, Inc. manufactured support tubes. Award to a manufacturer other than Adapt Plastics, Inc. would necessitate both a First Article end item test, as well as end items for Lot Acceptance Testing. The costs associated with these tests are such that it is not in the best interest of the Government to pursue competing this requirement. This announcement is issued for notification purposes only. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited.
