The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Base Seattle, intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price purchase order to JRH LLC (DBA: Powersports NW) for a replacement security cart under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, citing an urgent operational need tied to the FIFA World Cup and the total loss of the previous cart in a crash, with no other responsible sources available to meet the requirement on short notice. The procurement is conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.106-1(b), with a maximum value not exceeding $350,000, and the contract period of performance is sharply defined as a single day from June 29, 2026, to June 30, 2026, indicating time-sensitive mission-critical delivery.
