Full Description

SOLE SOURCE: The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Statistical Research Inc (SRI), 6099 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson AZ 85712 for a Design and Implementation Plan of the Propo sed Combat Systems Maneuver Area (CSMA) located at USAYPG. SRI completed the first part of this work under contract DATM07-01-P-1218 and this contract will be for a continuation of that work. SRI has intimate knowledge of the project history, project are a, sites located in the area and has knowledge and expertise to address the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) recommendations from the first part of this work. To award this contract to another firm would cause the project to restart from the beginning, causing time delays and costs for work that has already been performed in addition to the costs for the new work to complete the CSMA project work IAW the Arizona SHPO recommendations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS ) code is 541720 with a size standard of $6 million. Award of the requirement shall be in accordance with FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 -Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responses other than SRI may identify their interest in providing the requirement by submitting a proposal by way of an email to Laura St.John, Contract Administrator at contact@example.gov later than 4:30 pm MST 31 May 2004. Your proposal MUST demonstrate that your firm possesses the experience and capability to complete this work without causing time delays and costs for work already performed.
