Indian-Owned Subcontracting and Labor ParticipationThe contract titled Indian-Owned Subcontracting and Labor Participation is issued by the Cherokee Nation Housing Authority under the Cherokee Nation and is designed to prioritize labor and subcontracting services provided by Indian individuals or organizations in alignment with tribal preference requirements. The solicitation is categorized under NAICS code 238210, indicating it relates to plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors, and is open for responses until August 3, 2026, with the posting date listed as July 20, 2026. Performance of the contracted work is expected to occur in Tulsa County, and the procurement is structured to ensure that Indian-owned businesses and tribal members receive preferential treatment in the award and execution of these services. This contract does not specify a set-aside type or additional eligibility criteria beyond the tribal preference mandate, emphasizing the commitment of the Cherokee Nation to economic development within its Native communities. The absence of a point of contact or detailed address information suggests that all inquiries and submissions must be handled through the designated online portal, cherokeebids.org, where full solicitation details and submission instructions are available. Participation is restricted to entities recognized under tribal preference laws, ensuring that contract opportunities directly benefit Indigenous-owned enterprises and laborers affiliated with the Cherokee Nation or other federally recognized tribes.
