3 SEPTEMBER 2020. DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE IS ON HOLD INDEFINITELY. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS SITE FOR FUTURE UPDATES. The Transatlantic, Middle East District (TAM) is seeking interest and capabilities of experienced construction contractors capable of performing Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Construction of an Air Traffic Control Tower in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This project is to construct a new 12 story air traffic control tower (ATCT) plus cab and balcony floors with a reinforced concrete pile foundation, steel superstructure, precast concrete facade, and a standing seam metal roof. This project will include an elevator, a catwalk surrounding the tower cab as well as fire detection and suppression systems, HVAC, emergency Power, utilities, site improvements and other required support to provide a complete and usable facility. The facility will also have space to support a RADAR approach control system All facilities are designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01. Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost-effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development and construction of the project in accordance with UFC 1-200-02. This project will comply with DoD Antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
