The Mid Atlantic Tribal Health Center (MATHC) in Charles City, Virginia, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified contractors capable of providing solid waste removal, sharps disposal, and regulated medical waste management services. The facility requires these services to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and tribal regulations. This notice targets businesses that qualify as Indian Economic Enterprises or meet small business size standards under NAICS code 562112 (Hazardous Waste Collection), with an anticipated size standard of $47 million. The services include weekly solid waste removal via an 8-yard dumpster, monthly sharps and regulated medical waste pickups—including curbside sharps drop box waste—as well as proper transportation, disposal, documentation, manifesting, and provision of compliant waste containers and equipment. Interested contractors must submit a Capability Statement demonstrating relevant experience, technical capacity, regulatory compliance, past performance on similar contracts, and ability to meet specified schedules and geographic service requirements for Charles City, Virginia. The Government seeks information to refine acquisition strategies and possibly set aside the procurement for Indian Economic Enterprises but will not award a contract based solely on this notice.
