The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service has awarded funding under the Advancing Markets for Producers Initiative (Award No. NR233A750004G065, as amended) to the County of Sonoma, which serves as the AMP Agreement Holder and administers the regional Sonoma–Marin Ag Support Program. The project at Ranch 02 consists of the following conservation practices: soil carbon amendment (purchased compost) and range planting. The Proposed Action is limited to the implementation of no-till on active agricultural lands. The project area is within a disturbed agricultural field with regular disturbance associated with production of the crop.
