The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is conducting market research under solicitation CM26034009 to identify qualified manufacturers capable of producing NSN 6625-01-458-5183, a Fluke 179/179ESFP multimeter, as a potential alternate source to the original equipment manufacturer. Interested parties must submit technical and commercial information including CAGE code, manufacturer location, point of contact, delivery timelines, and evidence of commercial sales to demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed OEM quality standards through the DLA Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request program. The submission must include full technical documentation proving product equivalence and commerciality under FAR 2.101(b), such as unredacted invoices, catalogs, and drawings, and is to be sent electronically to Brandon Corbitt at Brandon.Corbitt@dla.mil by the deadline of May 22, 2026. Responses are required to disclose whether the respondent is a manufacturer, distributor, or dealer, and if a distributor or dealer, the manufacturer’s CAGE code and small business status must be provided. The solicitation seeks responses from both large and small businesses, including those with SBA certifications such as 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned, or Veteran-Owned. Contractors who qualify may be considered for an indefinite quantity contract with a three-year base period and potential option years. If the total contract value exceeds $2 million, certified cost or pricing data will be required, and the contractor must demonstrate ability to obtain such data from the actual manufacturer if acting as a distributor. No formal packaging, preservation, or marking requirements are specified beyond the need to comply with standard DLA item identification practices using NSN, CAGE code, and part number, and no inspection or delivery locations beyond the contracting office in Columbus, Ohio have been designated. Participation in this research does not guarantee contract award, and all submissions are subject to review under the SAR program on the DLA Weapons Support website.
