Sources Sought Notice – Amendment 0001 – DCF Mail and Packages Screening Equipment

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, specifically the Washington D.C. Currency Facility's Mutilated Currency Division, is conducting market research via Sources Sought Notice 2031ZA26N00061 to identify qualified firms capable of providing specialized mail and package screening equipment and tables. The primary objective is to protect personnel and infrastructure from hazardous materials, including biological threats, chemical substances, narcotics, and toxic industrial chemicals. Required capabilities include the ability to detect various hazards, provide rapid audible or visual alarms, minimize operator exposure through containment or ventilation, and export screening results. Interested firms under NAICS 334517 must submit a capability statement detailing their technical capabilities, detection limits, and company information, including their SAM.gov Unique Entity ID or CAGE code.
