This is a Sources Sought notice to request information for Government planning purposes. Responses to this Sources Sought will assist Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division – Northeast (HCD-NE) in planning its acquisition strategy. 


This Sources Sought notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit the information listed below, which shall be considered by DHA for planning its acquisition strategy.  The Government is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. This Sources Sought does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. The acquisition strategy will be made based on responses received to this Sources Sought Notice and will be made solely at the Government’s discretion.


This requirement is to procure preventative maintenance and repair services for existing government-owned Radiometer ABL90 blood gas analyzers currently installed and in use in the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). The contractor shall adhere to perform all preventative maintenance services in accordance with the OEMs suggested services within its service intervals. Estimated Period of Performance is from June 01, 2026 – May 31, 2027.


This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability statement (not to exceed 2 pages) demonstrating your ability to perform the required services above. Capability statements must clearly demonstrate the vendor’s ability to service and maintain the Radiometer ABL90 blood gas analyzers, including access to proprietary software, tools, and qualified personnel without violating.
