AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Geological Survey under the Department of the Interior is conducting market research to assess industry capability for providing Trimble software maintenance, firmware updates for Trimble R10-2 equipment, and CenterPoint RTX geospatial subscription services. This effort is not a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract or reimburse any costs incurred by respondents. The requirement falls under NAICS code 513210 for Software Publishers and seeks information on organizations capable of delivering these technical services at scale, including demonstrated expertise in software support, firmware management, and real-time positioning services. Organizations interested in responding must submit their name, contact details, ownership structure, and tailored capability statements that outline organizational capacity, technical staff qualifications, project management experience, and any planned subcontracting or teaming arrangements. Responses are voluntary and must be emailed to beth_wilson@ios.doi.gov by 5:00 PM ED on May 8, 2026. The government will use the submissions to evaluate market readiness, assess potential for small business set-asides, and determine whether to pursue full and open competition or multiple awards. No feedback will be provided to respondents, and telephone inquiries are not accepted. Point of contact for questions is Beth Wilson, though the provided data incorrectly lists Mary Wilson with a different email and phone number. The place of performance is unspecified, and the office is based in Denver, Colorado. All submissions must clearly demonstrate the ability to meet performance-based service acquisition standards including schedule adherence, cost control, personnel retention, and risk mitigation.
