Southern Alberta Institute of Technology - Request for Proposal - SAIT Exclusive Catering and Residence Meal Plan Services

The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is inviting proposals for an exclusive catering partnership to deliver high-quality culinary and service experiences across its main and satellite campuses. This catering program encompasses a broad spectrum of events, from small drop-off orders to large plated galas, aimed at enriching campus life and fostering community engagement. SAIT is also seeking a qualified food service partner to manage operations at the Begin Tower Dining Centre, which serves as the core facility for the residence meal plan program. This dining centre operates an All You Care to Eat plan focused on building a strong student community and supporting student well-being. The contract allows for one or two service providers to be selected to cover these services, with proponents encouraged to submit proposals for one or both service areas as outlined in Schedule C. A mandatory bidders meeting and site tour is scheduled for January 21, 2026, and attendance is required for participation. Proposals must be submitted by February 10, 2026. Interested parties are advised to confirm attendance at the mandatory meeting by emailing the designated purchasing officer with details of their representatives. The selected catering partner will be pre-qualified for future opportunities related to the Campus Centre.
