SAIT is inviting experienced and qualified restaurant operators, hospitality groups, and food service providers to submit Proposals for the development, operation, and management of a restaurant and/or pub concept within the new Taylor Family Campus Centre (TFCC). Proponents are encouraged to present innovative and compelling concepts that will enhance campus life, create a vibrant gathering space, and contribute to the long-term success of the TFCC. Proposals should demonstrate the Proponent's ability to develop, launch, and operate a financially sustainable, customer-focused restaurant and/or pub experience that appeals to a diverse customer base, including students, staff, alumni, visitors, event attendees, and the surrounding community. The successful Supplier should also consider strategies to attract and serve visitors attending events at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, further positioning the TFCC as a vibrant gathering place and hospitality destination for both the campus and the broader Calgary community. The successful Supplier will be expected to provide a complete operating model, including concept development, menu strategy, staffing, service delivery, marketing, customer engagement, and operational management. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify an experienced hospitality operator that can deliver a unique and memorable dining and social experience within the TFCC. SAIT is seeking an operator that demonstrates innovation, operational excellence, financial stability, community engagement, and a commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment that supports the diverse needs of the campus community. The proposed concept should align with the vision of the TFCC as a destination for student life, wellness, athletics, recreation, learning, events, and community connection.
