A Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract was competitively awarded to Information Delivery Systems for hardware and software engineering services for Space Science Division (SSD) information technology infrastructure; information technology systems and network management, operations, security and help desk support; Management Information Systems (MIS) software engineering and support; and Scientific research software engineering and support within Naval Research Lab's SSD. This contract was awarded via a best value tradeoff competition with a total contract value of $7,205,318.18. This contract is for a 12-month base period with five, 12 month options. The contract evaluation also included a six month priced option CLIN, as detailed in the RFP, to provide additional coverage if required, in accordance with 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services.
