The Department of Homeland Security, through the Sflc Procurement Branch 3, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Marine Jet Power Inc for a spare parts kit. The total estimated value of the requirement is 27,669.59 dollars. This action is being conducted under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1, as the government has determined that Marine Jet Power Inc is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements. The procurement falls under NAICS code 333618 for Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing and PSC 2990 for miscellaneous nonaircraft engine accessories. While this is a notice of intent for a sole-source award and not a request for proposals, the government will consider evidence from interested parties demonstrating that competition would be advantageous and not cost or time prohibitive. The current contract is predicted to be a likely recompete with a potential end date of October 30, 2026.
