SPECTROMAX Optical Emissions Spectrometer

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the acquisition of a SPECTROMAXX Advanced optical emissions spectrometer (OES) to be delivered to the DLA Product Test Center in Columbus, Ohio. The requirement is for a single unit with all mandatory technical add-ons, including a single ICAL sample, argon cleaning and pressure regulation, nitrogen option, SIRCAL argon purifier, multiple wire and sheet adapters, spark stand with ceramic discs, a 22-inch monitor and PC, and a standard line conditioner. The equipment must support analytical programs for iron, aluminum, copper, nickel, and titanium matrices and require a 30 Amp 110 V power supply. The contractor is responsible for removing the existing system, delivering and installing the new spectrometer, performing calibration using an ICAL sample, and providing 24 hours of on-site training for up to four MPTC personnel. Warranty must be a minimum of 12 months from installation or 18 months from shipment, covering parts, labor, and travel.
