This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-18-Q-2372. Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase a SPLASH10 satellite tags for marine mammals on a firm fixed price, sole source basis from Wildlife Computers, as follows: CLIN# Description Quantity 0001 Item# MA-A297G-A-00 SPLASH10-297G, Rectangle Backmount, Standard depth range, Custom Delivery Date: No later than 01 September 2018 9 each 0002 SPLASH10-F-297A, Rectangle Backmount, Standard depth range Delivery Date: No later than 01 September 2018 4 each Wildlife Computers (Redmond, WA CAGE Code: 3GYF0) is the only known source for these items. This is the only company able to provide a specialized satellite tags specialized satellite tags that have Argos positioning capability, Fastloc GPS positioning capability, and battery life greater than 480 days (with a transmission setting of 300 Argos transmissions per day). This requirement is being solicited as a sole source, unrestricted requirement under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334511, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by our agency. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI.
