Full Description

This task order was awarded to RAYTHEON COMPANY, CAGE 05716. Performance will take place at RAYTHEON INTELLIGENCE AND SPACE, CAGE 4U884. This is a firm fixed price contract consisting of a one-year base period with a nine(9) term option periods for vendor-managed inventory services and nine (9) term option periods for CDRL reporting. In addition, the contract contains an unpriced option CLIN to procure the Common Architecture for Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (CAAP) ASIC, subject to the availability of funds and Raytheon's completion of development, testing and final Government approval of the new product. Total contract length is not to exceed nine years. This procurement contains two (2) NSNs in the 5962 FSC: 5962-01-688-3714 (DIAMOND ASIC) and 5962-01-688-3702 (CAAP ASIC). Raytheon (4U884) is the sole approved source for the awarded NSN(s). The items were solicited Unrestricted using Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW Far Part 15. This project was solicited citing the use of a Best Value Trade Off analysis. Factors that were evaluated included Price (including an audit of Certified Cost and Pricing Data), Past Performance, Proposed Delivery/Schedule, and Socioeconomic Factors. As Raytheon was the only offeror received for all CLINs, these evaluation factors were used mainly to determine acceptability of the proposal to the solicited requirements and not in comparison to another vendor.
