This contract is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial services issued as a Request for Quotation under FAR Part 12, specifically targeting small business concerns with a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 561730. The work involves routine lawn maintenance and seasonal clean-up services at the Deer River Ranger District office compound located at 1235 Division Street, Deer River, Minnesota, including mowing, trimming, edging, and spring and fall clean-ups, with grass height required to not exceed four inches at any time. Services must also include the removal and off-site disposal of leaves, branches, litter, and winter debris, as well as raking, blowing, and edging along hard surfaces and boundaries, all performed in compliance with OSHA standards and USDA Forest Service environmental guidelines. The contract is structured as a Firm Fixed Price with four option years spanning from May 15, 2027, through October 31, 2030, each requiring 25 mowing events and one spring and one fall cleanup per year, and may be extended by up to six months under FAR 52.217-8.
