Full Description
The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall commence work on or after January 12, 2026 and no later than the date to begin work set forth in a Notice to Proceed from the City or its authorized representative, to the Contractor. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa.
All work on this contract shall be completed by June 27, 2026. The beginning and completion dates will be included in and made part of the contract between the successful bidder and the City. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past the completion date.
