This requirement is for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Title: Malbay St-George – Breakwater Extension
Scope of Work/Deliverables:
The extension work on the breakwater at the St-George de Malbay fishing harbour in the
Gaspesia Region includes the supply and installation of stone and quarry-run, and installation of armour stone supplied by DFO for breakwater extension work, the partial demolition of the existing breakwater and recovery of anchor block and strong arm stone, sorting and reuse of the recovered stone to be used as armour stone, filter stone for breakwater extension, supply and installation of new concrete base to reinstall the navigation aid, installation of new concrete blocks and strong arms supplied by DFO and installation of new treated wooden floating docks with plastic float and galvanised hardware supplied by DFO.
Work site location: Malbay St-George – Gaspesia Region
Expected Start and Completion Dates
The services of the Contractor shall begin after contract award. All work must be completed by March 31, 2026, with the exception of floating docks installation, which must be completed by April 30th, 2026.
