Contract N40080-23-C-0006 is a design and engineering services agreement awarded to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. by the Department of Defense via Navfacsyscom Washington. The project focuses on the management of stormwater within the Lejeune Hall/Porter Road watershed at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The scope of work is divided into four key project areas. At Brownson Road and the Halsey Field House, the project involves the installation or replacement of stormwater pipes and structures, as well as the implementation of subsurface storage and pumping stations with associated electrical and programming infrastructure. Work at King George Street includes pipe and structure replacement, while the Porter Road segment focuses on reconfiguring lines to resolve drainage overcharges in residential backyards by routing loads through an abandoned utility trench toward King George Street. This contract was awarded on a non-competitive basis to maintain continuity with the original Designer of Record and avoid substantial duplication of cost and effort.
