Sulphur Creek Pump Station Fuel Tank Removal and Replacement at 19105 Cabot Blvd., Hayward, Alameda County, Zone No. 2 Project

The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is managing the Sulphur Creek Pump Station Fuel Tank Removal and Replacement project located at 19105 Cabot Blvd in Hayward, California. The scope of work involves the removal and landfill disposal of an existing 1,000-gallon underground fuel storage tank and the installation of a new 1,000-gallon above ground storage tank. This installation includes a new concrete pad foundation, tank mounts, buried flexible fuel piping, an overfill alarm, and a pipeline leak detection system. All activities will take place on Flood Control District property or easements along the Sulphur Creek flood control channel. The primary objective of the project is to ensure full compliance with the California Fire Code and specific sections of the California Health and Safety Code and California Code of Regulations.
