Sunset Area Plan/ Placer Ranch Specific Plan Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-57297-R2 for the Placer One 1C Villages 17-19 project in Placer County, California. The project applicant, Mourier Investments, LLC, is authorized to perform mass grading on a 50.6-acre site to prepare for the construction of a residential subdivision and associated infrastructure. This regulatory authorization is pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and is managed by the Placer County Community Development Resource Agency. The project will result in permanent environmental impacts to 0.03 acres of seasonal wetland, 0.39 acres of seasonal wetland swale, and 0.04 acres of vernal pool. As a responsible agency, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife determined that the project will not significantly affect the environment within its jurisdiction, provided that specific mitigation measures and a monitoring plan are implemented. The work is located at unnamed tributaries to Pleasant Grove Creek, specifically north of W. Sunset Boulevard and east of N. Foothills Boulevard.
