Supply and Installation of New resilient Athletics Flooring at two (2) schools

Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir is soliciting bids under RFQ 2026-106 for the supply and installation of new resilient athletic flooring at two locations: ÉÉC Sainte-Marie in Simcoe and ÉÉC Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys in Brantford. The scope of work includes moisture testing and reporting, the removal of existing flooring and adhesives, subfloor preparation, and the installation of vinyl multi-purpose sport flooring meeting ASTM F2772 standards, including new game lines. Contractors may also be required to provide a quote for a Moisture Reduction Barrier if vapor emissions exceed acceptable levels. All work must comply with the Ontario Building Code and other relevant Canadian standards, with a completion deadline of January 8, 2027. The contract will be awarded to the top-ranked respondent based on evaluation criteria including the proposed project schedule and the credibility of resources. Eligible bidders must provide a Statement of Insurability for five million dollars per occurrence and submit a Domestic Supply Chain Plan to maximize the use of Canadian and Ontario-made goods and services. Notably, U.S. businesses with fewer than 250 full-time employees in Canada are ineligible to participate. The successful contractor must adhere to strict site management protocols, including background checks for personnel and coordinating work to minimize disruption to school operations, with a one-year warranty period following substantial completion.
