U.S Embassy Harare requires the services of a qualified contractor for design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of a security‑grade perimeter lighting system at an Embassy residence. The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials required by this contract. The system shall provide continuous, uniform illumination along the entire perimeter fence/wall to support:       


  • Deterrence of unauthorized approach
  • Detection of intruders
  • Assessment through CCTV and guard observation
  • Safe nighttime patrol operations

The system must meet U.S. Government security standards, NEC (NFPA 70), and Zimbabwean electrical and lighting regulations.


The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on June 3, 2026 at 10.00am (Harare time) at a U.S. Embassy residence. Prospective offerors/quoters should contact HarareGSOProcurement@state.gov  by 1500hrs on June 01, 2026 for additional information or to arrange entry to the building.
