Supply of Exterior and Interior Painting Services

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is soliciting qualified contractors to provide comprehensive interior and exterior painting services for the Energy, Transportation, and Asset Management Department. The contract spans a five year period with renewal options and includes a ten percent Small Business Enterprise goal requiring SBE+ certification. The scope of work encompasses all airport structures and equipment, including masonry, wood, and metal surfaces, as well as specialized tasks such as pressure washing, sandblasting, and caulking. Performance is authorized on an as-needed basis by the Vice President of PMM, with a guaranteed minimum of 1,000 dollars per mobilization. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all necessary security clearances and badges for restricted areas, including the Air Operations Area, and must comply with specific vehicular access regulations and NTTA Toll-Tag requirements. Quality control is paramount, requiring the implementation of a formal program within thirty days of the notice to proceed and adherence to strict manufacturer spreading rates and film thickness. The agreement is governed by Texas Local Government Code and includes mandatory representations regarding the non-boycott of energy companies and non-discrimination against firearm entities.
