The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs & Sports, is soliciting bids for the provision of daily transportation services for approximately 10 to 15 students from Virgin Gorda, with pick-up at the Road Town Jetty on Tortola and drop-off at the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies in Baughers Bay. The contract period spans two academic years, beginning on September 7, 2026, and concluding on June 30, 2028, covering all official school days with mandatory morning and afternoon trips. The Ministry will evaluate submissions based on price, contractor experience, submission of Good Standing Certificates from tax and social security authorities, valid vehicle insurance, and current vehicle registration, with award going to the highest-rated offer though no explicit scoring weights are disclosed. Contractors must provide clean, roadworthy, Virgin Islands-registered vehicles equipped with safety features, operated by licensed drivers holding valid Taxi and Livery Licenses, Police Certificates issued within the last six months, and completed safeguarding training.
