Only contractors invited by UW from the applicable MRSC Small Works Roster are eligible to submit a Bid. Project Description: The University of Washington seeks a qualified heavy civil contractor to provide interim barrier, signing, striping, pedestrian, and related improvements for the UW Tacoma Street Vacation Project. The Work includes removing conflicting channelization and signs; furnishing and installing precast concrete barriers and terminals, new signs, pavement markings, and raised pavement markers; constructing a temporary accessible pedestrian ramp; implementing temporary traffic control; performing minor restoration; and providing related coordination, documentation, and closeout. The project is located at and around 1901 Market Street, Tacoma, Washington 98402. Bid Submission: The solicitation timeline, details, questions and responses, addenda, and all communications will be managed in the UW Workday Strategic Sourcing portal. Bid responses will be accepted only electronically through Workday. All required information must be submitted for a bid in order to be considered.
