Solicitation # 36C24626Q0898
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 is soliciting quotes for comprehensive solid waste, garbage, and recycling collection and disposal services at the Richmond Central Virginia VA Health Care System. This is a firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The period of performance consists of a base year ending September 30, 2027, with three subsequent one-year options, potentially extending through September 30, 2030. Award will be based on a best-value determination, where technical approach and past performance combined may be weighted more heavily than price. Key requirements include compliance with SDVOSB subcontracting limitations, maintaining minimum general liability insurance of 500,000 dollars, and adhering to strict packaging and labeling standards for universal waste. The Maintenance Support Group at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to decommission, remove, and dispose of one Quintus ABB QFC 1.6 x 4-1400 fluid cell press located in building 140.
