The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) has awarded a contract modification to BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Inc. (BAE) of Rockville, MD. The contractor shall continue to provide systems engineering and integration efforts for the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapons System (SWS) programs, US SSGN Attack Weapon System (AWS), Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System (INWSS), and future concepts. The contractor shall perform requirements in support of Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems, and AWS Systems and Test Engineering for Demonstration Program 5. BAE is the only source capable of providing this effort which is inextricably linked to the effort already begun under contract N00030-17-C-0001. Award was made using other than full and open competition to BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Inc. of Rockville, MD, the only source with unique facilities and personnel expertise required for this program.
