Full Description

This requirement is for the replacement of the #1 and #2 lifeboat and davit systems for the USNS MERCY and the USNS COMFORT. The new lifeboats will be combination tenders and survival craft and will serve two primary functions: (1) the tender will serve to provide ferry service for individuals injured or otherwise incapacitated and (2) as a lifeboat, it will serve as a survival craft in the event of an emergency. In addition to the procurement of the #1 and #2 combination cruise tender/lifeboat and davit systems, the Government intends to purchase required spare parts associated with the new system, concurrently.
