The Center also collaborates with regional and national stakeholders, contributing to conferences and multi-state research projects to enhance information flow within the livestock industry. This non-competitive procurement is conducted under the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, following simplified acquisition procedures. LMIC is currently the only known provider capable of delivering this specialized subscription service. Although this is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, interested parties may submit capabilities statements by the September 8, 2017 deadline to be considered for future competitive actions. The one-year base performance period may be extended through four additional one-year options.
