Solicitation SPE8E9-27-T-0270 is a small business set-aside procurement for identification markers, specifically American Labelmark Company part number SL18 (NSN 7690-01-240-6572). The requirement is for one roll, consisting of 500 individual markers. This is identified as a commercial item with a 12-month non-extendable shelf life. The original required delivery date is October 16, 2026, with a delivery window of 20 days after the order. Shipping is FOB Destination to the USNS Lewis and Clark in the FPO AP 96671-4077 region, and the use of traceable shipping means is required while parcel post is prohibited. The contract mandates strict adherence to MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, with a specific requirement to avoid plastics for wrapping and cushioning where possible. Shelf life markings must include cure and expiration dates shown by calendar quarter and year. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination.
