The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to request a proposal and negotiate on a sole-source basis with Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems, Inc., P. O. Box 330651, Charter Oak Boulevard, West Hartford, CT 06133-0651 for the procurement of hardware to retrofit the MH-60R/S aircraft with the new T700 Electronic Digital Engine Control Unit (EDECU). This procurement is for the incorporation of an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) designed to enhance the time on wing, total ownership costs, and fleet maintainability and supportablility of the T700 engines.
