Delivery is required at F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island, 90 days after award, with all shipping charges included in the unit price. The contract requires active registration in the System for Award Management prior to award, submission of the contractor’s CAGE Code, and pricing that remains valid for at least 60 days. Full Description
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The basis for the sole source is that only General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) can meet the Government’s schedule requirements without incurring unacceptable duplicative costs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement in the future.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Type purchase order to GDMS on a sole source basis. GDMS is the only capable source.
